Attendance Policy
On October 16, 2024, CoinAlts LLC and its affiliate entities (“CoinAlts,” “Company,” “we,” “us,”) intend to host a symposium for the digital asset community addressing investment, legal, and operation issues pertaining to private fund managers (the “Symposium”).
Acceptance & Modification
By registering for the Symposium, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and not a minor in your state of residence, and that, if you are executing this Agreement on behalf of an entity, you have been duly authorized to act by such entity. By registering for the Symposium, you agree to have your company logo listed in the respective area of the CoinAlts website. We reserve the right to modify our policies at any time upon notice to you. To the extent that you register for multiple events, you agree to adhere to any such new policies once we have made you aware of all such modifications. If you do not agree to abide by the provisions of this Agreement, you are not authorized to attend the Symposium as an exhibitor.
Revocation of Registration
CoinAlts reserves the right to cancel your registration to the Symposium for any reason as determined by us in our sole discretion, including without limitation if we believe you have violated this Agreement.
Accurate Information
You shall provide us with accurate, complete, and current information during registration and in response to any written request (including by email) by us, and you shall update all such information provided to us if and as soon as such information changes.
General Liability Release
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, executors, administrators, and next of kin, hereby agree to release and hold harmless the Company, its sponsors, vendors, service providers, agents, licensees and assigns (“Company Entities”) and their officers, directors and employees, with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or other loss or damage to person or property in connection with my attendance at or participation in the Symposium, whether arising from the negligence of the Company Entities or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
No Endorsement or Affiliation; Release
CoinAlts is not affiliated with and does not endorse any of its sponsors or any of the products or services offered by a sponsor or advertised or otherwise referenced on the website or at any event by any sponsor or any other third party, and CoinAlts does not guarantee the accurateness, validity, effectiveness, or use of any such products or services.
COVID Protocols
We reserve the right to require either (a) proof (by printed copy) of a negative COVID-19 test result from a test administered within 72 hours (3 days) prior to attendance, or (b) proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as of the first day of the Symposium. This policy is subject to change based on public health guidance.
Photo/Video Release
Event Recordings; Use of Likeness. During the Symposium, attendees, sponsors, speakers, and others may be photographed and videotaped by Company, its sponsors, and vendors in capturing the Symposium. By attending the Symposium, you acknowledge and agree to grant Company Entities the right to record, film, photograph, or otherwise capture your likeness and voice at the Symposium in photos, videos, audio recordings or other media (“Recordings”). Attendees further grant Company the right to use, distribute, publicize, exhibit, digitize, broadcast, display, reproduce, and otherwise use such materials in any manner or media whatsoever.
Email Notifications
By registering for the Symposium, you agree to be engaged with Company and will be added to the Company email distribution list. You will have the opportunity to amend or terminate your email subscription once confirmed.
Unethical/Non-Compliant Marketing
Company reserves the right to deny admission to or eject anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant marketing practices.
No Solicitation by Attendance
Only our sponsors are permitted to solicit attendees regarding their products/services at the Symposium, and thus attendees may not promote their products or services at or in connection with the Symposium. Unsecured Items Policy
Personal belongings such as briefcases, backpacks, purses, coats, book bags, laptops, tablets or mobile devices, etc. should not be left unattended in meeting rooms or public areas. These items are the responsibility of their owner and Company will not be held responsible for their safekeeping should they become lost or stolen. Additionally, any unattended items may be subject to removal by security upon being discovered. If you lose or find an item, please ask about the lost and found at registration.
General
Section headings are for reference purposes only and in no way define, limit, construe or describe the scope or extent of any such section. This Agreement and any additional applicable agreement between you and us set forth the entire understanding and agreement between us with respect to the subject matter hereof. The provisions of this Agreement will survive termination or expiration to the extent necessary to carry out the intentions of you and us.
